After the preliminary findings of the Royal Commission into Trade Unions released today, it seems that a few people are on the long dusty road to the “go slow”.
I am not talking about genuine trade unions who fight for their union members and continue to defend the wages and conditions and keep them alive so that they can return home to their families every day. We are all aware that the royal commission is a political attack by the Abbott government on workers through their trade unions.
However, some good may come from such a process to rid the union movement of”yellow” unions accepting money from bosses and the right wing of the Australian Labor Party.
The preliminary report released today by the commission is a damming report about the criminal behaviour of the current leadership of the Hospital Services Union and its officials.
The damming report mentions the illegal activities of such people as Dianne Asmar the current secretary, Kimberly Kitching the manager of the HSU. and her husband, the fraudster and con man Andrew Landeryou.
People such as these along with Kathy Jackson should have the full extent of the law descend on them. They are not genuine trade unionists they are crooks, at the same time genuine trade unionists are under attack because of the actions of these people are only concerned about the own Fiefdoms
It seems that Australian Labour Senator David Feeney has also had his fingers in the corruption pie .
Cesar Melham, the Legislative Member of the Victorian Parliament also should face criminal charges for conducting industry 2020 which saw bosses’ money given to Asmar and her crooked followers.
Slush funds to the tune of $ 260.000 was given to support the Dianne Asmar campaign from employers.
Once a union takes money from bosses it ceases to become a genuine trade union.
Dianne Asmar will not be able to hold her head high after this damming report, Kimberly Kitching and her crooked hubbie Andrew Landeryou are in the same sinking boat.
Good riddance to criminal activity!
