A number of individuals have been caught up in the paranoia that is the corona virus being the equivalent of the latest bout of influenza. 65,000 people alone died last year of a similar influenza in America, multiply that by every country in the world and it brings the current panic into perspective.
The current Corona virus has, and will, cause deaths mainly in the elderly, the infirm and those with debilitating conditions but, as yet has not caused the death of one young person.
Those people currently slinking around the supermarket shelves should realise if they have a decent bone in their body is that because of their greed they deprive people on low incomes, pensioners, mothers feeding babies or Newstart recepients unable to purchase items they need daily due to survive, if they could afford it .
The fact is 25,000 people die of starvation every day, so what’s the difference? Corona virus affects the rich, starvation doesn’t !!!
My question is why toilet paper? How have we wiped our arse for the last couple of centuries? I recommend Andrew Bolt’s daily column or Alan Jones’ latest novel as an alternative,
No, it’s more serious than that, if a nation of people are so vulnerable to such misinformation and indulge in such serious actions against working people and those on low incomes because of their greed what then for the future of this country ?
Personally I hope that every person involved in the wholesale acquisition of toilet paper suffers a serious bout of diarrhea so as not to waste the paper and their paranoia.
If you need that amount of toilet paper in case of a 14 day quarantine then you have a much bigger problem than Corona virus .
