Insiders tell me that logie award winner Jeanie Little is suffering from Alzheimers disease, she is only 61 y.o and seems to have almost lost her memory completely.
Most people may remember her as the zany mad cap women with the screechy voice who dressed in gargage bags and used her personality as a contraceptive. She was a regular on Australian television but most people found her about as funny as a fart in a lift.
Before we go crying into our beer and mourning for Jeanie, maybe its not such a bad thing to lose your memory before certain words come back to haunt you.
I remember Jeanie at the height of the refugee crisis in this country when people were fleeing death and persecution putting the lives of themselves and their families at risk to come to this country, Jeanie came out with the most outrageous and despicable comment ever made on Australian television
Jeanies solution to the refugee crisis ” let them land here on our shores, shoot them, then take a photograph of them lying dead, bullet holes and blood everywhere, then send the photographs back to the country they came from and I bet no more of these bastards come here”
So when the media are trying to flog her life to you as a doyen of the entertainment world think again ,she may have been a singer and dancer with a whacky personality, but not very deep down she was a racist with no right to express those views without condemnation.
My only question to the mob that give these awards, Australian magazine T.V. Week, is why they would have awarded and rewarded such filthy racist comments in the first place.

If your talking a Jeanie little she is an outrageous racist ,I’m sorry to hear that she is still drawing breath on
a regular basis . I will break out the champagne when the old tart dies

dennis i have never forgotten she said that. i am glad others remember too. she made those comments at the same time that anthony mundine made the statements about 9/11.
of course, mundine (my main man) was vilified and racist attacks agsinst him were many. people still hate him for those statements, (and also because he is a brilliant Aborigional sportsman who isnt afraid to speak his mind).
almost nothing was heard about what the harridan little said, except from howls from people like thee and me.
she also suggested the photos be shown to the families.
i am glad we wont be hearing any more from her.
and here is a new blog idea for you, dennis, REALITY OBITUARIES… cases like this deserve them.
